Cheryl's tears at ex-mas greeting

SINGER Cheryl Cole fought back tears after getting a Christmas card from ex-husband Ashley.

The 28-year-old X Factor judge received a festive message from the soccer star wishing her all the best in 2011.
The pair divorced in September after four years of marriage but are still on amicable terms.
A source said: "Cheryl felt quite choked up at being sent the card.
"After all that has happened between them, she thought it was a nice gesture.
"It has been a difficult year and as anyone who has been in love knows, the holidays can bring on a lot of emotion and nostalgia."
Cheryl is spending the Christmas break with her family in Newcastle after deciding not to go to Los Angeles to see her dancer friend Derek Hough.
She wanted to go home to see her brothers and is tired of travelling... around all the time.
Though Derek, 25, was disappointed he still showed how much he cared for her by sending her a pair of diamond earrings.
A source said: "He would have liked to have given her them in person but he totally respects her decision to stay in the UK.
"He is hoping she will jet out there next week instead and see the New Year in with him."
