American Idol to Make Like Big Brother?

A pair of new judges and the elimination of the top 24 round is reportedly not enough change for American Idol.
The show is contemplating something much bigger.
As detailed by The Hollywood Reporter, producers are emphasizing the theme of "transparency" this season. As such, they are seriously thinking about going all Big Brother on viewers: filming the interactions of finalists that reside together in a Los Angeles home.

Other changes being considered: allowing the contestants to use Twitter throughout the season; taking the finalists on a road trip to Las Vegas and somehow integrating them with Cirque du Soleil's Beatles-inspired show.

I’m not getting married says Genelia D’Souza

 
Genelia D’Souza is upset with rumours of her wedding with actor Riteish Deshmukh. The actress says she isn’t getting married to anyone for the time being.
“To set the record straight, I am not getting married to anyone. I have always maintained that my personal life is not something I would like to discuss. But this time since it was something that would affect my family, I decided to take a stand,” said Genelia in a statement released here Tuesday.
“My films and my brands are my priority as of now and I’d like to keep it that way. And if I do decide to settle down, you will hear it from me when as and when it happens,” she added.
A tabloid had reported the romance brewed between Genelia and Riteish on the sets of Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003) and that they are planning to get married this year.
“It’s rather funny that we have to read about the progress in our lives in the press before we even know it ourselves. I wonder how news like that can be put out without any confirmation from the people whose lives are being discussed,” she said.
Genelia is right now looking forward to the release of Chance Pe Dance. She is paired with Shahid Kapoor in the film, which is releasing on Jan 15.

According to this almost certainly bogus report, “She thinks having another baby will help land some magazine covers and thrust her back into the spotlight.”

Camille Grammer has speculated that Kelsey pushed for her to appear on this Bravo hit specifically to get time for himself with Walsh, a 29-year old flight attendant.

There is also a great deal of peer pressure to look better than your friends,” says Deepika Bhalla, adding, “And the advantage in these times is that you can lose weight pretty quickly, thanks to our medical science that all the treatments, diets and advice available in the market.”
While losing excess weight is a good thing, as perhaps may be the case with Sonakshi Sinha, trying to get a Perfect 10 figure overnight is a dangerous trend, warn experts. According to clinical psychologist and psychotherapist Varkha Chulani, “The size zero like Kareena Kapoor flaunts attracts girls towards equating beauty with the kind of figure they have. And they start believing that they need to have a perfect figure to look great. This results in over-exercising and going under the knife, which jeopardizes their body.”

Jessica Simpson Is Getting A Prenup!

We're glad to hear this!
Many have been suspicious of Eric Johnson's motives for proposing to Jessica Simpson after only six months of dating, but according to insiders close to the couple, the former NFL pro is the real deal - which is why he's agreed to sign a prenuptial agreement!
The source confirms:

"There will definitely be a prenup. Jessica has said she wants one. Jessica and Eric have talked about it. [Eric] understands that there needs to be a prenup. He's supportive of it. He really loves her. He's a low key guy. He's not into the glitz and materialism of Hollywood at all."

No Bachchan show for IIFA Awards 2010

 The Bollywood 2010 IIFA Awards are scheduled to take place between June 3 – 5 in Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo, but it looks like the star power will be significantly reduced at this year’s IIFA Awards ceremony to be held June 3 – June 5 at Sri Lanka’s capital city, Colombo as the royal couple of Bollywood, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wont be attending it. As per the latest buzz in Bollywood Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are so busy working that they won’t be able to attend.
According to Aishwarya’s spokesperson “she is going for a Longines (international watch brand which the actress promotes) commitment to Paris where she will be attending the French open.” And while the former Miss World will be away in Paris, her hubby will be in Istanbul shooting his new movie “Game.”
As if Abhishek and Ash’s absence wasn’t not bad enough, rumors in the Bollywood Industry have it Amitabh Bachchan will not be there either, but for different reasons. Big B, who together with his son have been IIFA brand ambassadors for years, might stay home due to the demonstrations by Tamil groups in Mumbai that have taken place outside his house to protest that Colombo has been chosen as the venue to hold the event.
This is not the first time the Bachchan Family have chosen to stay away from award events. After the Mumbai Mirror, a leading newspaper agency claimed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan cannot conceive because of her stomach tuberculosis and that the she is trying to hide the truth. Abhishek, Aishwarya and Big B decided to boycott the Filmfare Awards last March.
After learning about the newspaper, they never offered an apology. Instead, they chose to walk out of the ceremony.

Jim Morrison Gets A Posthumous Pardon For "Indecent Exposure" Conviction

Better late than never!
On March 1, 1969, Jim Morrison was alive and well, performing a concert in front of his adoring fans in Miami. That evening, he reportedly dropped his pants, giving the crowd a very personal view and the stunt landed him in prison for six months. Before he died, he was attempting to appeal the conviction, as he had proof that he never actually exposed himself to his fans. Sadly, he never got the chance to defend himself.
Fast forward to 2007, when a huge Doors fan approached Gov. Charlie Crist and insisted that the case be reopened so that Jim could be pardoned. Fast forward to today, as the pardon has finally come to past.
After several years and the reassurance of the surviving band members that it didn't happen, Gov. Crist, along with two other members, granted the pardon.
Wow. Guess we're just going to ignore the 100 or so pictures of evidence? Okay, cool!

Deepika Padukone wants to work with Hirthik, Aamir & Salman

Having being successfully casted in nine Bollywood films during the past four years, Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone seems to be now looking forward to work with Bollywood Superstars Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.
Deepika Padukone came to the Bollywood spotlight with the movie Om Shanti Om co-starring Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and Arjun Rampal. She was later seen in various other movies sharing the silver screen with Bollywood Actors Akshay Kumar & Saif Ali Khan.
Caught in the whirlwind of two back to back releases Break Ke Baad and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Deepika Padukone recently said in an interview “I am looking forward to working with Aamir, Salman and Hrithik as my next agenda.”
With five releases in 2010 alone, the 24-year-old model turned actress has her hands full and is quite happy with the films coming her way. “I am very happy with the films I am being offered. This year has been a classic example of mixture of films from different genres. I would like to continue this trend,” said Deepika, who began her year with psychological thriller Karthik Calling Karthik co-starring Farhan Akhtar and ended it with a patriotic period movie Khelein Hum…
Even though she is juggling different genres with ease at an early stage in her career, Deepika says the process she undergoes as an actor is same for every film.
“I am still in the process of getting into a character, living in it, trying to portray it well. Whether I do a Break Ke Baad or Om Shanti Om or KHJJS, the process for me is the same.”

Deepika, who has a some romantic comedies in her kitty including Bachna Ae Haseeno and the recent ‘Break Ke Baad’, says she enjoys acting in such films as she grew up watching movies of the kind.
“As an audience I have grown up watching romcoms and love stories like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, which had the typical opposing parents, rebellious children and so much drama. I like to star in such movies as an actor as well. I would love to have played Kajol’s role in DDLJ,” she added.
