Timberlake Misses Impossible $1 Million Charity Shot

Justin Timberlake attempted a hole-in-one with Callaway Golf clubs to raise funds for the Shriners Hospitals for Children — and ET knows whether or not he made the $1 million shot!
Justin had three attempts to drop a hole-in-one on a 180-yard, par three hole at the Callaway Golf Center in Las Vegas, using the company’s new Diablo Forged Irons. He didn’t make the big shot, but his efforts generated a Callaway Golf donation of $5,000. Timberlake has been a Callaway Golf staff professional since 2008, and he has previously made a hole-in-one.
“It was 182 yards into the wind,” he tells ET’s Kevin Frazier, who is with him in Las Vegas. “I feel bad that everybody’s misinterpreting it. I got so excited by it, and then everybody else was like, ‘Really?!’ So I said, ‘It was a fluke.’”

Raima pleads director to tone down hot steamy scenes in Mirchi…

The upcoming film Mirch, is surely going to get many eyes popped out. Well, the director of the flick Vinay Shukla made it very clear in the start that its India’s first erotic film.
It is heard that, Raima Sen’s lovemaking scene with Arunodoy Singh is very elaborate and so the actress is requesting the director to tone it down.
Initially, during the shooting of the scene, the lovemaking clip was shot and brief. But Vinay felt that the scene lacked passion and so it was important to work on it again. So Raima was cajoled into doing the scene again. This time, the lovemaking scene was long and elaborate and it has been retained in the film’s final cut.
“What will my mother say?” was her first reaction when Raima saw how elaborate the lovemaking sequence was: she was reduced to tears. Her co-star Arunodoy however was fine with it
The film, with the help of four parallel stories, celebrates female sexuality through the eyes of women who are uninhibited when it comes to sex
Mirch also has Konkona Sen Sharma doing a few lovemaking scenes but they are not as hot as Raima’s.

Priyanka gets back at Bebo’s comments…

This week’s Koffee with Karan is going to be all spicy. Priyanka Chopra will be seen with Shahid Kapoor on the show. PC was a little rude and harsh while talking about her once good friend Kareena kapoor. She revealed on how people in the industry don’t take Kareena too seriously. Kareena was no less. She too had passed a taunt at Priyanka on the show earlier when she said: “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from.” .
Not to be outdone, Priyanka said, “I want to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place where her boyfriend ( Saif Ali Khan) got his.” reminding the show host that she, too, had studied overseas and therefore had access to an accent just like so many others in Bollywood.
Well, I wonder why poor Saif is being dragged in this .
PC did not stop there. she went on to take a dig at Bebo. “I’m flattered that Kareena thinks I am a good actress,” . “But otherwise I don’t think people take Bebo too seriously,” is what PC reportedly said.
And she hit one final nail when she was asked what she would steal from computers of Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid, Kareena and others. Known for her smart alec replies, PC giggled, “Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?”
Hmmm…Wonder what Bebo would have to say to that!

Karishma makes up her mind to divorce Sanjay….

A few days ago media had reported that Karisma Kapoor’s marriage with Delhi-based businessman Sunjay Kapur is in trouble, now, the latest we hear is the actress will be filing for divorce rather soon.
There has been irreconcilable differences between the couple from quite some time. Buzz is that Karishma who has been stagnated in Mumbai, hasn’t been visited by her hubby from the past few months.
A source says, “If she has not yet filed it yet, it would be any moment now.”
Adds the source, “The time has come for Karisma to emerge from a bad marriage. She is terribly distraught and very stressed. She has virtually become a loner.”. “To cheer her up, friends even dragged her to a fashion show held in October this year, hoping she’d let her hair down. But suddenly the media entered the party enclave.
Seeing this Karisma ran away from the party. She feared that someone or the other would ask her about her marriage and she wouldn’t be able to hide it,” says the source.
Cracks first appeared in their marriage way back in 2005 when Karisma was pregnant with her first child. But the couple ironed out their differences and got together again. Karisma gave birth to her second child in March this year. Within months, rumour mills were abuzz that Sunjay was seeing another woman in Delhi, an ex wife of a rich NRI hotelier.

Salma Hayek Confesses: I Came to the United States Illegally

Salma Hayek talks about her humble beginnings, her former undocumented immigrant status and her charity projects in the new issue of V Magazine Spain, where the Mexican actress seductively poses for the cover titled “A Woman’s Weapons.”
Hayek’s involvement with women’s issues has distinguished her in Hollywood. Her advocacy includes promoting awareness programs about violence against women and on the rising discrimination against undocumented workers.
“I was an illegal immigrant in the United States,” Hayek said during the interview. “It was for a small period of time, but I still did it.”

Wesley Snipes Starts Three-Year Jail Term

Actor Wesley Snipes began serving a three-year sentence at a federal prison in Pennsylvania on Thursday for failure to file income tax returns.
Snipes, 48, arrived shortly before noon at the Federal Correctional Institution McKean in the tiny northwestern Pennsylvania town of Lewis Run, federal prisons spokesman Ed Ross said. He had been ordered to surrender by noon.

The minimum security prison camp is worlds away from the harsh prison fortresses depicted in the Snipes’ films “Undisputed” and “Brooklyn’s Finest.” The minimum-security camp doesn’t have fences around its perimeter.
The 300 nonviolent inmates live in barracks that feature two-man rooms, daily showers and double-feature movie showings Friday through Sunday. Alas, no NC-17, R or X ratings allowed, which knocks out much of Snipes’ action-heavy repertoire.
The most jarring aspect of the celebrity’s stay might be the five daily head counts, three during the overnight hours. And Snipes, who earned a reported $13 million for the “Blade: Trinity” sequel, will have to adjust to earning just pennies an hour handling kitchen, laundry or other campus chores. He can spend just $290 a month at the prison commissary.
Snipes has appeared in dozens of studio films, from “White Men Can’t Jump” and “Demolition Man” in the early 1990s to the blockbuster Blade trilogy.
None of which will score him any points at McKean, officials insist.
“We recognize that he is high profile, but we treat all our inmates the same,” spokeswoman Shirley White told The Associated Press last week.
According to U.S. prosecutors, the actor failed to file any tax returns for at least a decade, and owed $2.7 million in taxes on $13.8 million in income from 1999 to 2001 alone.
Snipes, a dues-paying member of a tax-protest group that challenges the government’s right to collect taxes, described himself at his 2008 sentencing as a naive truth-seeker.
“I am an idealistic, naive, passionate, truth-seeking, spiritually motivated artist, unschooled in the science of law and finance,” said Snipes, who had pursued theater and dance from an early age, attending the vaunted High School for the Performing Arts in New York City.
Tuesday night, he told CNN’s “Larry King Live” that he was not nervous about reporting to prison.
Star of the “Blade” trilogy, Snipes was convicted in 2008 on three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file income tax returns.
On Wednesday, he made a last-minute request for a new trial, but on Thursday a judge in Florida rejected the emergency motion. Snipes had argued said that a judge erred by not allowing defense attorneys to interview jurors about misconduct allegations, but U.S. District Judge
William Terrell Hodges said the motion merely re-argues issues that have already been decided.
At McKean, he can pursue his spirituality at weekly meetings of nearly any religious group imaginable, from Wiccans to Jehovah’s Witnesses to Spanish-speaking Evangelical Catholics.
The martial-arts enthusiast can get his exercise playing sand volleyball or indoor basketball, or work out on an elliptical machine or stair climber. And he can tap into his fun side through badminton, bocci or bridge.
Should he pull a muscle in a pickup game, the infirmary copay is just $2.
But it’s not all fun and games.
The daily wake-up call is at 6:35 a.m. The mundane jobs run seven hours a day. There’s little fashion flair to the prison-issued khakis. And contact in the visitors room is limited to “a kiss,” according to the prison handbook.
Snipes has tried to delay his arrival while he takes his appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. But the trial judge said he had gotten a fair trial.
Hodges saw in Snipes “a history of contempt” for U.S. tax laws, the judge said at sentencing.
Never mind that the actor, changing course, had delivered $5 million in checks to U.S. tax agency the Internal Revenue Service that day. Hodges imposed consecutive one-year terms for the three misdemeanor convictions.
“Someday, every fighter loses,” says the prison boxer Monroe Hutchens, played by Snipes, in 2002’s “Undisputed.” “In the end, everybody gets beaten. The most you can hope for is that you stay on top a while.”

Bernie Madoff's Son Commits Suicide

Mark Madoff, the son of convicted Ponzi-schemer Bernie Madoff, who is currently serving a 150-year prison sentence, was found dead in his Manhattan apartment early Saturday morning of an apparent suicide.
Madoff was found hanging from a ceiling pipe with a dog leash around his neck. His father-in-law discovered his body.
His two-year-old child was also allegedly asleep in a nearby bedroom at the time, unharmed.
It is unknown whether or not he left a suicide note, however prior to his death, Madoff emailed his wife in Florida with "words to the effect that someone should check on his son."
His death occurred on the second anniversary of his father's arrest.
Wow. So sad.

No Problem Review – Fultoo Problem Hai

Anees Bazmee who’s delivered hits like No Entry, Welcome and Singh is Kinng in the recent past puts together a massive star cast and has come up with his latest offering No Problem. With so many actors in the mix, one would expect a star studded hungama. The previous hits of Anees Bazmee belonged to the Comedy genre and he sticks to his previous formula once again in the new film. So, is it any better than his previous works?
Plot: The movie set in South Africa opens with Suniel Shetty and his henchmen robbing the minister of his diamonds. The robbery is in fact a conspiracy of the minister who promises to pay Suniel Shetty his share. Paresh Rawal is the owner of a bank in a small village in South Africa who is saved from gorillas by Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna. So, he takes them two to his house to lodge them for a night. The next day, the two rob the bank and flee for which, Paresh Rawal is accused. So now, he sets off to Durban (he finds about the two with the bag they leave behind)in hunt for these two thieves, Akshaye and Sanjay. Enters Anil Kapoor, who is a cop in the Durban Police trying to catch Suniel Shetty and put him behind bars for stealing the diamonds. The rest of the story is about recovering the diamonds with a whole lot of the usual Bollywood masala.
Direction: The script is loosely based on the lines of the English film SNATCH. Bazmee who has also written the dialogues and co-written the screenplay of the film fails in delivering a coherent story. Anees Bazmee who’s strongest asset is delivering comedy in his movies fails miserably in his latest attempt. The film which is supposed to tickle the funny bone leaves one wondering about the slapstick situations used to create humor.
Anees Bazmee has always been fascinated with the films from down South. We get to see the same in a couple of scenes (from the Telugu movies Athadu and Super) which he has directly lifted.
Music: The music by Pritam is totally below average. There is a lot of Punjabi mix in the songs. Songs actually are just speed breakers in this so-so affair. Shakira features in one of the songs as well but, ironically goes completely unnoticed.
Cinematography, Editing and Sets have nothing much to boast about. The animatronics sequence in the climax using gorillas is a complete waste.
Performances: Anees Bazmee just did not know how to use such a huge star cast. All the actors including the experienced ones like Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Suniel Shetty, Shakti kapoor and Paresh Rawal are wasted in their roles. Anil Kapoor as such should have never agreed to play the kind of role he’s been offered (leave alone producing the film). Others like Mukesh Tiwari, Ranjeet, Suresh Menon have no substantial roles to perform. One can seriously laugh about Sushmita Sen’s split personality which after a point of time only gets irritating. Kangana Ranaut is only a mere come and go. Neetu Chandra has nothing to offer. Vijay Raaz plays a cameo which is a complete waste for such a talented actor.
The film is a complete no-no if you are planning to have a funny weekend. Sorry! Bazmee saab, is baar aapne hasaye nahin balki rulaye.

Shahrukh graces the ‘OK’ mag Nov’10 issue….

King Khan of Bollywood has been ‘crowned’ as India’s Sexiest Dad, by the OK magazine.
Well, before I go in detail about it, I must tell you that all the pictures in this mag are nothing short of a sheer visual treat!
In the inner pages, you will find SRK confessing, “I would love to have more children.”
He goes on to say “My son has learnt how to edit and my daughter loves to act, so I try to make films all the time.”
When asked as to who’s a stricter parent between him and Gauri, he says “Gauri is. I think I am strict too, but Gauri thinks that I am very lenient.”

Elizabeth Edwards Is Laid To Rest

Three days after losing her battle with breast cancer, Elizabeth Edwards was laid to rest Saturday at a North Carolina church.
John Edwards and their three children were joined by more than 1,200 mourners at the funeral service. Their oldest daughter Cate delivered the eulogy to her mother, saying:

"She has been a light house to all of us. She's always been that source of light to us. Every lesson she has taught us has become part of our ethic."

She was such a brave woman. May she rest in peace.

New Richie-Madden Wedding Deets! And How Nicole Will Look On Her Wedding Day!

Today is rumored to be the big day! And we've got even more details about Nicole Richie's wedding. Nicole is all about style and she's making sure she looks her absolute best!
Nicole has chosen an "elegant" Marchesa gown with a price tag of $20,000. The dress is said to be a white, custom-made piece and when she and personal stylist Simone Harouche flew to New York last week for her final fitting, Nicole was said to be absolutely thrilled. According to a source, "it went very well."
Sources also say that Bryon of the Byron+Tracy salon in Beverly Hills will be styling Nicole's hair.
As for her guest list, the ceremony is said to be small and intimate with just close family and friends. Most of her celeb-pals will be attendance, such as Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Samantha Ronson (who is rumored to be a bridesmaid), however pal Christina Aguilera has said she will not be able to make it since she is in Europe promoting Burlesque.
Meanwhile, her precious daughter Harlow will be the flower girl. Awww.
Sources say that even though the wedding will be taking place at Lionel Richie's house, he will NOT be singing at his daughter's wedding. However Joel Madden loved the idea and is hoping for a family jam.
