Amy Winehouse's Diary Found in Trash

Imagine how you would you feel if your mom read your diary. Okay, now multiply that by thousands of people! That must be how Amy Winehouse is feeling right about now. The diary she kept as a teenager (she's now 27) was recently found in a trash can in London! The notebook — which was found among schoolbooks that had been thrown away — contained song lyrics and notes that she wrote to herself in 2001, when she was 17.
One of the notes was a to-do list for when she nailed a record deal. The list included getting a treadmill, buying a flat in London, buying a car, getting a gym membership, buying a sunbed to put in her flat, and getting her teeth fixed. Other diary entries revealed juicy boy gossip, like her feelings about a guy named Felix. A red notebook titled "Amy's Songs" was also found, which had scribbled song lyrics like "Find someone with whom I can come undone." Winehouse confirmed to People Magazine that the diary pages were thrown out by mistake, and she's "in the process of getting them back now." We sure hope she does!
Winehouse also wrote to herself: "live like the bombshell I really am." Sounds like a good new year's resolution!

Ring in 2011 With Snooki and More on MTV

Still figuring out the best way to ring in the New Year tomorrow night? We suggest spending it with MTV! Their annual festivities kick off live at 10:30 p.m. ET from Times Square. Comedian Whitney Cummings hosts with the cast of the Jersey Shore joining her to stir up some major memories. Pauly D serves as the house DJ for the night. The Jersey Shore cast is also looking to set the Guinness World Record for the most people fist pumping at once in Times Square. Also stopping by are Pretty Little Liars stars Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell plus Flo Rida is performing not one but two songs. Sounds like the perfect start to 2011!

Unsigned Find: Stay

Though our focus is almost always on the music, here at Unsigned Finds we don't pretend not to notice when the boys in the rock band are cute (10 points for honesty?) Traditionally, a band with four cute guys is a lucky find. But, a band with six cute members who are all talented to boot? Now that's a serious gem. Anthony R, Alex, Nick, Andrew, Steve and Anthony A, otherwise known as STAY, have been stirring up a serious buzz in and around their hometown of Boston, MA. The boys just recently completed a string of tour dates with Down With Webster and have also hit the road with major bands like The Maine, Allstar Weekend and their personal favorite, You Me And Everyone We Know. "You, Me, and Everyone We Know has been one of our favorite bands to tour with," says Stay's guitarist Steve. "Not only are they great musicians but we feel that they are very deserving of their success." While their fellow tour mates might be teaching the boys of STAY a thing or two about being humble, they've definitely earned a few bragging rights in our book. Still entirely unsigned, the boys have been featured in major rock music mags like Alternative Press and have earned spots on highly coveted end of the year top-ten lists like Purevolume's Top Unsigned Bands of 2009 and Absolutepunk.net's top 100.

But, at the end of the day, we all know pop/rock bands are a dime a dozen. So, how do the boys keep people talking?  According to Steve, it's their work ethic and irresistible live show. "I think we're definitely able to differentiate our live show from others.  We've been going to concerts and live shows forever and have taken all we've learned from years of watching, and have applied it to our live performance. We're grateful for our chance to step on stage every night and we never take that for granted." It might also help a little, that the boys have teamed up with John Naclerio, (the producer/engineer for My Chemical Romance) to help produce their new full-length record, which is due out in spring of 2011.
Although the boys are working with a major producer now, they've made it crystal clear that they have no intention of ditching their independent roots and compromising the artistic freedom they've come to depend on. "We're really happy being an independent band. It's not always easy, but it's really great to have full control over your musical product. We're definitely open to the idea of being signed to a major, but we'd want to make sure that it's the right record label run by people who work as hard as we do on a daily basis." We totally agree boys. Take it slow, and shop around - you're doing just fine on your own.

King KHan: I am not Big Star as aamir & salman

Latest news Shahrukh Khan (SRK)Mumbai: The self proclaimed King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan seems to have a change of heart. After years of rigours in the industry, fighting it out with two of his biggest rivals in B-town, SRK eventually passed the Bollywood crown to his contemporaries Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

On the couch of ‘Koffee with Karan’, SRK, in one of his most mellow moods, had spoken candidly about friends, co-stars, films and much more. But one remarkable revelation that SRK spilled while talking to KJo was that he needs to grow up as Salman and Aamir have!

Shah Rukh, nevertheless put to rest the Aamir-SRK war when he told show host Karan Johar, “I am not and can never be as big a star and actor like Salman or Aamir. I would like to grow up to be like them one day.”

Speaking to a daily, a source present on the show said, “For years Shah Rukh and Aamir have been passing snide remarks about each being King and Ace of the Box Office and masses.”

Talking about SRK and Aamir’s equation, the source further added, “Shah Rukh and Aamir are two of the most popular Khans and adored by thousands of fans, so the fight for the ultimate title has always been quite an issue with these two stars, as they have always managed to topple each other at some point of time or the other. They have even sarcastically claimed their number one spot at media events.”

While both regaled with big hits like ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’, off late, their rivalry hit an all-time high when news surfaced about both A-listers signing International projects with basic storyline of the city of Mumbai.

Reports confirm that SRK is to doing a project with Danny Boyle for a film titled ‘Maximum City’, while Aamir Khan is to work in an adaptation of ‘Extreme City’ for producer Anubhav Sinha. The film is said to be based on the biggest slum of Mumbai, Dharavi.

However, another reason why SRK might have given up his throne to his adversaries was cited by the source, when he said, “The fact is Aamir and Salman are senior to SRK in terms of having entered the industry before him. So, that`s also SRK`s tongue-in-cheek way of saying he is younger to them in experience and still has a lot to learn.”

Farah Khan makes fun of Shahrukh Khan

 
Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan were best pals once upon a time but now things are no so well between then and the crack in their relationship splashed in ‘Tees Maar Khan’ where Farah Khan poked fun at Shahrukh.
By approaching Akshay Kumar for the film in stead of Shahrukh, damage has already been done and now spooking King Khan in TMK, Farah has left no room for any future reconciliation. Akki spoofs SRK in the film. It was shown that Akki most of the time flies off to London to get his backache treatment done. If you are unaware then let me inform you that SRK actually had a backache and he flies off to London very often for treatment
Also, in the movie, Akshay  goes topless and flaunts his six packs abs which is a direct reference to SRK in ‘Om Shanti OM’.
Shrish Kunder who has scripted ‘TMR’ could not stand King Khan at all and it is a clear indication of his hatred.
Well, SRK never leaves any insult unanswered. Let’s see how he counter back to Farah and Shrish.
